Algebra 1 - 12/4 through 12/5

Your Algebra Nation Workbook should be updated as you go but will not be checked until Friday 12/15.  Make sure your book is with you that day because it is going into the gradebook before the end of the quarter. (all of Section 4 except Topic 1)

There are two reviews to prepare for the scrimmage (part 1 and part 2) in MathXL - Each is work a 50 points test so make sure you get to these before their due dates.  Pace yourself.... the first part is due 12/5 and the 2nd 12/12.  

 Tuesday 12/5 -  More practice on systems - all three methods 

Homelearning:  There is no homework assigned that is due Thursday, but there are two MathXL quizzes (30 minutes long with a single attempt but can be taken at home).   Don't start until you are ready.  You have until Sunday evening 12/10 to complete them.   Good luck.   These along with the  scrimmage reviews are the last assessment grades planned for this quarter.

MJII Advanced - Plan for last 2 weeks of school

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
