Algebra - 4/10 and 4/16

Notes and explanations are due if you are wanting an update to your Section 9 open notes test.  The retake should be done at home as well, but for it to be accepted the notes need to be turned in Tuesday 4/10.

Tuesday 4/10 - Starting Section 10 with Topics 1 and 2 

Homelearning: Complete using Algebra Nation video (your workbook section 10 Topic 3), Any part of the Independent practice from class you did not finish in class.  Most finished.

Absent ?  email for a soft copy of the practice to complete and turn in.  Use the Algebra Nation videos to catch up in your workbook (Section 10 Topics 1 through 3)

Thursday 4/12 - Short quiz on Topic 3
                            Continuing Section 10 (Topics 4, 5 and 6)

Homelearning: Independent Practice for Topics 4,5 and 6.  Watch the Algebra Nation video to go with Topic 7 in your textbook.  After completing the lesson then work the independent practice for Topic 7.  Be prepared with questions on Monday if you have any after completing topic 7.

MJII Advanced - Plan for last 2 weeks of school

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
