                                      "Cross-sections of Prisms and Pyramids"  in Iready.

    2A and 3A - Circles (and some angles) review.
                         Any homeworks not done in Digits (including Digits Topic 20 review) now assigned

    2A and 3A Homelearning:  Study for Circles assessment (Friday),
                         Complete Digits Topic 20 review

                         Circle and Iready "Area of Composed figures" and
                        "Cross-sections of Prisms and Pyramids"  in Iready
                         (this weeks Iready - due by Sunday)

MJII Advanced - now that the FSA is over....

We have things to do to get ready for Algebra.  There are many things we can cover but the three most important things we will focus on is... Lines - graphing and using their formulas (y=mx+b) Exponent Rules Expressions/Equations  We will be doing the ramp up to Algebra assessment and working to get ready.... ======================================================================= If you don't have a grade as high as you would like then let's get to work to fix that!!   In class, stay alert, stay with me, ask questions and practice your skills.  - Classwork points will be earned most days. Assessments will be in the form of bellringers, exit-slips and the Iready diagnostic, so make sure you are understanding what we are doing and doing Iready's to get your skills up.    The ramp-up to Algebra is not an assessment grade, but your work on the required skills will be an important part of the end of this quarter!!!

MJII Advanced - Plan for last 2 weeks of school

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
