Algebra 1 - 2/20 and 2/22

2/20 - Today we had the Part 1 of the assessment for Section 6.  There were lots of absences.  If you were absent please plan to come after school Monday to do the makeup.   If you do not, you will miss class for the makeup and I do not recommend this!!

Homework is to complete the "Transformations Practice worksheet" - Use Topic 7 and 8 in your algebra nation book along with the chart on transformations we made in class.

2/22 - Algebra Nation workbooks were checked today.  We worked on EOC practice problems and the Transformation practice worksheets.

Homelearning:  Complete Topics 1 and 2 in Section 7 so you see the material in that context before we cover it in class.   Get ready for a Transformations quiz on Monday 2/26.

MJII Advanced - Plan for last 2 weeks of school

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
