Algebra 1 - Monday 1/22 through Friday 1/26

This coming week is a review week.  We will be practicing concepts from all of Section 5 (Topics 1 through 9).  The test is Friday, so ensure you have completed your Algebra Nation workbook and bring it on Friday!!

Monday 1/22  - Review day 1 
All independent worksheets are due either today or are past due.
All 3 MathXL assignments on this Section were due 1/21 (last night).
We will work in groups to solve problems practicing what we have learned.

Wednesday 1/24 - Review day 2 
Short quiz for those that need to show they can factor still.  (This quiz will replace your earlier attempt if you did not do well.
For those that did well the first time.... a different version.
More review of some type depending on what we need from Monday.


Homelearning MathXL review assignment and make sure that you get your Algebra Nation book caught up!!  There is a test Friday and a workbook check.

Test on Section 5 Topics 1 through 9 is Friday 1/26!

MJII Advanced - Plan for last 2 weeks of school

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
