Algebra 1 - 12/9 and going forward

Part 2 of the scrimmage prep in MathXL is due Tuesday 12/12 at 9pm. Our scrimmage is Wednesday and Thursday 12/13 and 12/14 this week.

 Your Algebra Nation Workbook should be updated as you go but will not be checked until Friday 12/15.  Make sure your book is with you that day because it is going into the gradebook before the end of the quarter. (all of Section 4 except Topic 1)

Your additional practice worksheets on Graphing and Substitution methods were due Thursday 12/ 8 so if you didn't get them turned in.... do so ASAP.   The crossword puzzle was also due.  I will take all of these as late as Tuesday 12/12 for full credit.

MathXL quizzes for both 1) Graphing and 2) Elimination and Substitution are due Sunday evening at 12/10.

Monday 12/11 - We will be learning Arithmetic Sequences (Section 4 Topic 1) and having associated homework with it.

Wednesday 12/13 (early dismissal) - Algebra Session 1 is this day!!  Session 2 is on Thursday 12/14. - We will likely continue working on our arithmetic sequence homework, but also recovering from the first day of Algebra scrimmage.

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
