MJII Advanced 11/6 - 11/8

Monday 11/6 :   Starting topic 9 (Percent Equation)  - 9-1 and 9-2  :  Using the percent equation including sales tax and calculating commission.
     Homelearning:  Digits online 9-1 and 9-2.  Ask a parent or adult if they know anyone that works on commission and how that works.  Be prepared to talk in class about what you learned.

Wednesday 11/8:  Lessons 9-3 (simple interest) and more practice with percent equation.
     Homelearning:  Digits online 9-3 - There will be a short quiz on Topic 9 so far (Monday).


Don't forget you have 2 Iready lessons to complete and pass each week. The week ends on Sunday night! 

            LONG weekend - No school on Friday 11/10!!!

MJII Advanced - Plan for last 2 weeks of school

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
