MJII Advanced - Monday 9/18 through Tuesday 9/26 (Test day)

We are completing the material for Topic 1 and 2 but if you know you need to work on your operations with Decimals or Fractions you should be working on those as well.  Use your resources (Khan Academy, Virtual Math, etc.)  to practice finding common denominators, multiplying or dividing decimal numbers, or whatever you know you are weak in.

 IREADY weekly assignments start this week.   You should complete 2 lessons from Monday through Sunday each week starting now.  

 Note:  If you did not finish the blue tab Iready lessons yet and want any credit for them they must be complete by Tuesday 9/19.

 Monday 9/18: We will be reviewing our partner tasks from last class (adding, subtracting and multiplying rational numbers.  From there we will be going on to Division (lessons 2-3 and 2-4).

     HomeLearning:  Digits online 2-3 and 2-4.

 Wednesday 9/20: We willl be completing topic 2 with Lesson 2-5 (PEMDAS and the Distributive Property).  Timed multiplication test #3. (in 2A and 3A)

     HomeLearning:  Digits online 2-5 along with custom assignment based on Monday's bellringer results.

Friday 9/22:  Today is review day.  We will go over the highlights and practice the key concepts for Topics 1 and 2.  The test for these two topics will be on Tuesday 9/26.

      HomeLearning:  Digits online review for topic 1 and topic 2.
          Study using these, the materials from class and any past homeworks
          or guided notes you have.   STUDY!

Tuesday 9/26:  Test on Topic 1 and Topic 2 today.  Start Topic 3 while others finish their test if need be.

     HomeLearning:  TBD - related to Topic 3

MJII Advanced - Plan for last 2 weeks of school

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
