Notes and explanations are due if you are wanting an update to your Section 9 open notes test.  The retake should be done at home as well, but for it to be accepted the notes need to be turned in Tuesday 4/10. Algebra 1 - Tuesday 9/29

Quiz next class on topics 1 through 4 in Section 1 of Algebra Nation :  Homework: Get your workbook caught up to where we are and use this to review for the quiz at the same time!!! Go to algebra Nation  - - - - The ALGEBRA section - - - - NOT the ON Ramp and have a look at Section 1, Topic 1 and then Topic 2, Topic 3 and Topic 4.  It will walk you through the Sections in your workbook. Independent Practice answer keys (T1, T2, T3 and T4) area attached to the quiz assignment in Focus.  Click on the Quiz scheduled and you should be able to look at the answer keys for the worksheets.

Algebra 1 - This week is our EOC... what are we doing this week and going forward...

You should be finishing up your EOC Prep assignments in MathXL.  If your assignment is late, you should do it anyway.  Late is better than not at all because each of these is a 30 point assessment grade.   (In some cases I raise the score even if MathXL has lowered it for being late!!! Don't let MathXL scoring cause you to ignore the assignment!)  There is an Iready blue tab assignment on Solving Systems of Equations which is available for Extra Credit if done before the EOC day 2 (May 3rd).   This will help offset if you missed getting the other Iready assignments done because you put it off too long and I removed them!! Monday is our final review day, so come prepared to try problems in class with hints.  I have compiled the ones you and your classmates had the most trouble with and we plan to go through them and make sure you can solve them.  This is too long to finish in class, so your homework is to complete going through them bef...
