Algebra 1 - Tuesday 9/19 through Friday 9/29 (Test day)
If you have fallen behind in MathXL make sure all assignments are completed by Wednesday this week and you start doing them on time. Late work is only given half credit (1 day late) and then there is no credit. This policy will be applied going forward so let's get on it!!!!
Tuesday 9/19 - Topic 6: Radical Expressions with Rational Exponents with practice in class.
HomeLearning: Math XL "Rational Exponents and Radicals" and independent practice sheet T6 if not completed in class.
Thursday 9/21 - Topic 7 and 8 (Operations with Radicals and Rational Exponents).
HomeLearning: Algebra Nation workbook Sections 7 and 8 - Complete with online videos. Complete T7 and T8 practice worksheets (Struggling happens, but try them all. Do your best in attempting even if you aren't succeeding and we will go over lots of these in class!!!) Review sections 5 and 6 (and the associated independent practice worksheets) and be prepared for a quiz on Monday.
Monday 9/25 - Quiz on Topics 5 and 6. We will not be covering Topic 9 until later (in Section 3). Topic 8 is the last topic we are including on the Test Friday.
HomeLearning: Take home review for test. Bring to class with questions. Be ready to review it and any other similar problems.
EMERGENCY TUTORING session Monday afternoon. If you have questions and have a ride home at 4 or 4:30. I am available to answer questions after school until 4:30 because this test is a BIG DEAL!!! If you don't have any notes from class because you don't write any, please do not come to tutoring. This time after school is only for those that put in effort!!!

Friday 9/29 - Test on topics 1 through 8 of Section 1.
HomeLearning: Fill in Section 2 Algebra Nation Workbook along with the video for topics 1 through 3. Section 2 is about equations and remembering what we learned already. There is nothing new in Topics 1-3. It is reminding you of what you should already know. We are about to build on this knowledge so we are making sure you are with us.
