Algebra 1 - Friday 9/29 through Thursday 10/5 (including Driftwood info)

Friday 9/29 - (Test day for Section 1)

Homelearning:  Section 2 Topics 1-3 in Algebra Nation book - Watch the videos and fill in the notes / answers to problems.  Highlight anything new to you.  I expect a lot of this is review for you.

Tuesday 20/3 - In class we will go over the highlights of your homework sections and practice / clarify / answer questions based on what you know and need to remember.   We will cover Section 2 Topic 4 and practice in class.  You will receive the practice worksheets for the first 4 topics.
Homelearning:  Complete the 4 worksheets if not done in class. 

 NOTE: Tuesday, October 3rd is the in-school game so we will be following an early release schedule. 

Driftwood students have already received the worksheets so should return with the worksheets done (along with Topics 1-4 in their Algebra Nation books).   I suggest completing the workbook sections before attempting the worksheets.  

Thursday 10/5 - Section 2 Topics 5 and 6 (Inequalities)

Homelearning: TBD

NOTE: Wednesday, October 11th is PSAT day so it will eliminate or severely impact the time in Algebra classes that day.

MJII Advanced - Plan for last 2 weeks of school

Monday 5/21 - Continue our exponent rules and practice.  Classwork Exponent worksheets 5 & 6 (7 if we have time). Homelearning:   Exponent worksheet #7 Don't forget the last blue tab extra credit assignment is only available to complete through May 25th!!!  Wednesday 5/23 - Exponent Quiz followed by Algebra Nation Ramp up short diagnostic.... Are you ready??? Friday 5/25 (There will be a substitute).  Half of the class will be working on Algebra Nation proficiency following the ramp up.... work your way up.  Other half - SumDog competition online.  Wednesday 5/30 - Animal Kingdom field trip.   Anyone present will work on their ramp up work in Algebra Nation. Friday 6/1 - Last day of school - Giant Jenga and the Lipsync competition in the Auditorium.
